The inimitable Igor of Driven By Bordom did a nice write-up of the show, and his amazing pics were also posted on the Village Voice blog, prompting people to contact Emily from her past, wondering if it was really her.
Suspicious Package is a music, video and performance collective, lead by front-women Emily Doubilet and Ashlynn Manning.
Our current project is to generate a fusion of art and environment called Bio-Pop: a celebration of biodiversity through pop entertainment. We are developing a series of original songs and high definition music videos, each focused on the unique behaviors of a specific animal. By using strategic internet distribution and featuring human-animal interactions in the context of both wilderness and urban environments, we aim to usher in a new voice in contemporary pop media that inspires people to connect with life on earth.

We are back in the USA. After our three month private-island retreat off the coast of Honduras, which was like LIVING A DREAM EVERY DAY, we launched into a two week road trip across the US, hitting up Austin’s SXSW music festival, and the madness that is Miami’s Winter Music Conference aka DJ heaven!
Our beyond-words Miami jubilee leader - the internationally NOTORIOUS Princess Superstar - made an EXCELLENT BLOG POST summing up our wild time in Miami, including a link to a precious rare video of us partying down at P. Diddy’s mansion pool party. Best quote - the Princess declares that: “ashlynn and emily whipped off their tops and swam in the pool and were so much sexier and realer in their granny panties than any of the models time a million.” GRANNY PANTIES 4 EVA!!!
WE CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE MORE NEWS WITH YOU soon. Soon my friends. We have been working hard with Bad Brilliance both on the island and now back in Miami and NYC, and we can’t wait to release some of the new work into the world!

For a few months, ya girls decided to beat the NYC winter and go to a private island in the Caribbean (off the coast of Honduras) to develop new material. AND WE’RE FLYING OUT OUR PRODUCTION TEAM! 21st Century, Dr. Maloney & Bad Brilliance will be joining us on our retreat.
